Site Screens

Site Screens (/screens) turn any display into a dashboard viewer without full console login.

How it works

1. Create a screen record in Screens with a name and target dashboard
2. The platform generates a pairing code
3. Open /screen on the kiosk device and enter the pairing code
4. The display shows the assigned dashboard in full-screen mode

Pairing flow

Admin creates screen → Pairing code displayed
Kiosk opens /screen → Enters code → Dashboard loads
Device token stored locally for reconnect

Permissions

Requires screens.create to add screens and screens.update to change the assigned dashboard. Viewers on the kiosk need no account.

Use cases

• Production line KPI boards
• Maintenance status displays
• Alarm summary walls in control rooms
