Maintenance
Log maintenance work and track equipment baselines.
The Maintenance section covers fleet health monitoring, work records, and golden baseline tracking.
Fleet health
Open Maintenance (/maintenance) and select the Health tab for a plant-wide equipment view.
| KPI / column | Meaning |
|---|---|
| Fleet Health | Average health score across active devices |
| Devices Watched | Active devices; online count shown as subtext |
| Active Alarms | Sum of open alarms on watched devices |
| Weakest Device | Lowest health score among active devices |
| Health (per row) | 0–100 score — penalties for offline (−30), each active alarm (−15), alarm churn, and poor data quality |
| MTBF / MTTR | Mean time between failures and mean time to recover from alarm history |
| Data Quality | Percentage of GOOD-quality samples in the recent window |
Use Health for daily triage; open a device link to investigate tags, rules, and connectivity. Work performed on assets is logged separately (see below).
Requires maintenance.read.
Maintenance records
Navigate to Maintenance (/maintenance) to log work against assets.
- Click Add to create a maintenance record
- Select the plant, machine, or device
- Record work type, description, dates, and parts used
- Link spare parts from inventory when applicable
Maintenance records require maintenance.create permission.
Baselines
Baselines (/baselines) store golden profile envelopes (p05–p95) learned from tag history while the process runs well — not manual maintenance measurements.
Use baselines with GOLDEN_PROFILE rules to detect deviation from known-good operating conditions. See Rules, alarms, and actions.
Baseline snapshots are plant-scoped. Operators with maintenance.read can preview the learning window and record new baselines from the baselines page.
Permissions summary
| Action | Permission |
|---|---|
| Log maintenance work | maintenance.create |
| Edit records | maintenance.update |
| Manage baselines | maintenance CRUD on /baselines |

Parts usage
When logging maintenance, you can consume spare parts from inventory. Stock quantities update automatically with inventory.adjust permission.
